All personal vows, oaths, and promises that we made unwittingly, rashly, or unknowingly during the past year, knowing that we cannot fulfill them according to our original declaration, should be considered null and void in the mind of HaShem and ourselves with the thought in mind that such rash decisions will try to be avoided in this new year.
