 
                Shani Louk, the young woman that was being paraded around by Hamas in the back of a truck has been reported to be alive. She is alive but not well suffering from head injuries and other trauma at a Gaza medical facility.
Shani, a German citizen, is in a hospital according to her mother.
May she recover fully and be reunited with her family back home.
And, may those who did this to her burn in hell.

This mitzvah is one of those "what on earth?" commandments that really makes people stop and scratch their heads and seems a bit harsh, especially from the age of PETA with a 21st Century sensibilities; but if it’s in the Torah there has to be a godly reason for it. Just what could that be?
