Living Each Day
by: Rabbi Abraham J. Twerski, M.D.
"We can awaken from sleep and turn over to sleep again, arising only when the demands of reality force us out of bed. Or we can awaken with the inspiration to arise and get about our mission to fulfill the Divine will. The choice is ours."
What is that Divine will? Each of us are here for a specific purpose designed by HaShem uniquely for us. It is up to each of us to know and choose it. The Divine will for all Jews, however, has remained the same since the giving of Torah - to be a light to the nations and a repairer of the world. As Rabbi said above: "The choice is ours."
Parshat Naso is the longest single parsha in the Torah, clocking in at 176 verses. That’s Torah’s way of saying, “Hey, you might want to take a long , serious and contemplative look at what you’re about to learn.”

I usually try to avoid politics in my videos and essays because things change so rapidly these days and the slant from all media sides distorts so much of what can be proven that it makes it very time consuming to sort out fact from fiction. However, that being said I will take some time to try and sort our what really happened in Ukraine beginning in early 2013 through 2014 that makes Putin think he was justified to attack that country. I only do this since an online friend accused me of falling for Western propaganda as it relates to the events surrounding this catastrophic war that has cost hundreds of thousands of lives over the last decade on both sides.
