For all those on social media complaining about President Trump playing golf during a time of war, here is a list of past presidents who played golf during war time or during a national or international crises. After reading, all those bitching about Trump's golfing, just shut the hell up.
Presidents Known to Play Golf During Wars or Major Crises
Dwight D. Eisenhower
One of the most famous presidential golfers. He played frequently during the Cold War. Eisenhower believed golf helped him think through strategic problems.
John F. Kennedy
A regular golfer during his presidency, including the early years of the Cban Missile crisis. early on in the Vietnam War and major Cold War confrontations.
Lyndon B. Johnson
Played golf during the escalation of the Vietnam War. Johnson, often mixed golf with political discussions.
Richard Nixon
Played occasionally while the Vietnam War was ongoing, though he wasn’t as passionate about the sport as some predecessors.
Gerald Ford
